ミャンマーとバングラデッシュにて

　昨日、陸路でバングラデッシュからここ、カルカッタへ到着しました。ミャンマーでは軍事政権により規制されているため、インターネットはありませんでした。というわけで、ホットメール恋しさのあまりそこでの滞在期間を4週間から3週間へ短縮しちゃいました。もはや私にとってメールは切っても切り離せないものであり、それなしでは旅は出来ないのですう。ミャンマーでの郵便事情はかなり悪く、ミャンマー人でさえ信用しておりません。というわけで彼らの中には、私のような外国人旅行者に、どこか別の国から郵送してくれ、と頼んでくる人もいるくらいです。たっぷりおごってくれた人には、それを喜んで引き受けてあげました。また私も郵便物を出すために、他の日本人にバンコクで出しといて、と頼んだりもしました。もちろんこうするのがそこではベターなのです。　バガンに関しまして、私はそこを大好きになりました。そこにはとりわけ仏塔やお寺がたくさんあり、その上からの眺めはとても幻想的なのです。いつの日かそれを再び見に来たいと考えております。その後ミャンマーを経まして、空路バングラディッシュに向かいました。バングラにはあまり訪れるべきところや見るところはないのですが、とても面白いところです。バングラに訪れる旅行者はかなり少なくて私などは珍しいらしく、どこに行っても現地人の注目の的です。ちょっと街中で足を止めると現地人が集まってきて、「何処のもんだべ？」などとたずねてきます。「日本だべさ」と答えるのですが、バングラでの2週間の間にたぶん500回以上は「日本だ」と言ったでしょう。もうたくさんです。そして次々と質問が続くのです･･･。バングラの人々はたいてい親切で気軽に話せるのですが、親切なのもある意味もうたくさんだと言えるでしょう。　私は現在インドにいます。付きましてはより注意して旅をしなければならないのです。　つぼ

(原文)　Yesterday I arrived here Calcutta from Bangladesh by roads.
The internet doesn't exist in Myanmar because of regulation by martial government.
So I shortened days in that nation from 4 weeks to 3 weeks,because I missed this hot-mail!I can't travel without h-m any more.The postal system of Myanmar is also bad.Even the local people don't trust it,and some of them ask the foreigners to post their airmail from other countries.I was done,and I accepted it willingly after their big treatment.I also asked other Japanese to post my letters from Bangkok.That's better of course.
As for Bagan,I love there.There're so many pagodas & temples in spacious area,and that scenery from the heights is very fantastic!I wanna visit there to watch that scenery someday again.
After Myanmar,I went to Bangladesh by air.There aren't so special places to visit and watch.People,however,are very interesting.Very few traveller in this nation,so we are the strange being and always watched by the local people.If I stop walking in the town,many local people gather around me and ask "Your country?"or something like that.Then I answer "Japan!".I said "Japan" maybe more than 500 times in 2 weeks there!Enough of that!!And their other questions will continue....Bangladeshi are usually kind.But sometimes that kindness is one of no-thanks,speaking frankly.
Now I'm in India.So I have to be a more careful traveller than before.Bye
